  • Flagler Monument Island: Built in 1920, Flagler Island is an artificial island complete with a monument visible from the Flamingo Hotel in Miami Beach. A 110-foot (34 m) high obelisk stands as a monument to Miami pioneer Henry M. Flagler, and visitors can enjoy a relaxing few hours on the island, which features picnic tables and excellent views.

 

  • Holocaust Memorial on Miami Beach: Originally conceived by a committee of Holocaust survivors, the Memorial was designed by Kenneth Treister on designated land at Meridian Avenue and Dade Boulevard. Please see the monument's Official Website for more information.

 

  • Miami Beach Botanical Garden: Situated on 4.5 acres, the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens features, amongst others, subtropical palms, a Japanese garden, topiary, and orchids.
